Using a hydraulical retractable side wall, the mold opens after the base concrete has been placed and compacted. This allows the facing concrete to flow into the side profile of the product, including products with deep chamfers or bevels. The retractable wall then moves back in for final compaction, ensuring a uniform face layer and consistent product quality.
