To maximize service life and maintain dimensional accuracy, PRIME-TEC molds are hardened using the RAMPF CSI Diamond process. With surface hardness values of up to 68 HRC, wear is significantly reduced, even under demanding production conditions.

Decades of experience in mold manufacturing are incorporated into every PRIME-TEC design. The mold insert is machined from solid alloy steel and precisely manufactured to ensure maximum stability and reliability in production. This robust construction promotes uniform vibration behavior, high dimensional stability, and consistent product quality throughout the mold's service life.

All PRIME-TEC molds are manufactured according to the RAMPF Standard, which applies significantly tighter tolerances than commonly accepted industry specifications. This level of precision ensures excellent accuracy, repeatable production results, and reliable performance across a wide range of machine platforms.

To reduce maintenance costs and increase operational efficiency, selected PRIME-TEC and PRIME-TEC S components can be reused multiple times. Depending on the design, components such as mold frames and tamperheads can be refurbished and reused for new molds.

PRIME-TEC S

PRIME-TEC S features a monoblock design in which the mold is machined from a single block of steel. By eliminating welded joints, the design prevents mold bottom distortion and provides exceptional dimensional stability throughout the mold's service life. One-piece construction also promotes more consistent vibration behavior across the entire mold, improving material distribution, compaction, and fill characteristics during production.

Together, the PRIME-TEC product line offers the flexibility to match the right mold design to your production requirements, from standard paving products to highly specialized concrete geometries.

PRIME-TEC molds can be equipped with a range of optional features to optimize performance for specific production requirements.

Available options include:

Tamperhead Centering – ensures precise positioning of the tamperhead with the mold bottom to prevent misalignment and excessive wear
PFE (Pneumatic Filling Equalization) – maintains consistent compaction and density across larger stones
Heated Tampershoes – reduces sticking to tampershoes and ensures smoother, denser stone surfaces
Rubber Isolated Insert – optimized vibration produces improved sidewall finish and compaction
Rubber Buffers – optimal vibration behavior and better surface quality, recommended for stones approx. 15.7 x 15.7 inches (400 × 400 mm) and larger
