TRADITIONS MOULDS STONES

Founded as a blacksmith's shop in 1926, RAMPF has steadily grown since then and has evolved over the decades from a small family company into one of the world's leading manufacturers of moulds for the concrete products industry.

1926

Franz Rampf founded a blacksmith's shop in Erbach.

1947

Production of the first steel moulds for concrete masonry stones and formwork for pre-cast concrete components.

1954

First moulds for egg layers were constructed.

1955

Manufacture of moulds for chimney blocks.

1968

Relocation to Allmendingen and succession by sons Karl, Willi and Franz Rampf junior.

1972

Construction of an additional production hall in Allmendingen.

1973

Manufacture of the first flame cut version mould.

1978

Founding of the US branch in Hagerstown, Maryland.

1984

New hall construction and establishment of an in-house hardening plant in Allmendingen.

1986

Hall extension in Allmendingen.

1990

Acquisition and construction of a production facility in in Szeged, Hungary.

1993

Construction of a new production hall in Allmendingen.

1995

Establishment of a sales office in Warsaw, Poland.

2002

Founding of the branch in Taicang, China; currently production and sales.

2012

The investor Nimbus has been involved in RAMPF Formen GmbH since 2012.

2014

Rampf acquired its competitor F3B, near Nantes in France; since then it has been trading as F3B Moulds SAS.
