Pneumatic tamper equalization with impact plate constitutes an alternative to using a rigid type of tamper. Better compacting performance and a shorter cycle time can be realized in this way. At the same time, the mechanical strength is increased by as much as 10 %. Additional benefits are the crack-free surface and smaller differences in product height over the precast package.
