There are so many additional details in the way the new curbstone molds from RAMPF have been constructed. The benefits implemented here from the progress made in production techniques are unequalled by any other segment of mold engineering.
Hydraulically operated gates in the mold, pneumatic tamper equalization with impact plate technique, change fixture for curved curbstones – to mention just a few examples of our innovative mold engineering.
Fig. 1:
The patented inlet chamfer following the contour of the profiling blade protects this from being damaged if the tamper is off-center when being lowered.
Fig. 2:
The partitions are held suspended in place and can move freely. These have undergone special hardening, are easily replaced and improve closure at the sides.
Fig. 3:
The inlet chamfers are cleaned by special cleaning brushes when the upper section of the mold is lowered or raised.
